Our mission

We bring factual LGBTQ+ news from around the world. We believe good journalism on this subject does not have to be activist. The facts speak for themselves. Our readers are adults who can draw their own conclusions.

What we do

We gather news daily from international sources. We follow specialized LGBTQ+ media and mainstream international news outlets. What LGBTQ+ readers may find interesting, we turn into short, clear articles.

Our editorial guidelines

• Facts first. We start every article with the core of the news. Details follow.
• Both sides represented. On controversial topics we let both supporters and opponents speak. Without judgment.
• Politically centered. We are not left, not right, not activist.
• Plain language. We write gay, lesbian, transgender, bisexual. We write he or she. We avoid activist jargon.
• Critical when needed. Also toward the LGBTQ+ community itself, when the news calls for it. Good journalism does not exempt anyone from tough questions.

Independence

We are fully independent. Advertising does not influence what we publish. Our editorial choices are separate from commercial interests.
